He Will Make a Way

Isaiah 44:24
“Thus saith the LORD, thy redeemer, and he that formed thee from the womb, I am the LORD that maketh all things; that stretcheth forth the heavens alone; that spreadeth abroad the earth by myself;”

Your problems that you face today may seem to be big, but one thing you can count on is that God is very capable of making a way through whatever you are facing. In chapters 43 and 44 of Isaiah, God shows that He is capable of making a way through whatever you face.

In Isaiah 43, God said that He would make a way in the sea, a path in the mighty waters, a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert. The verse above says that the LORD “maketh all things.” God then reminds the believer what He made. He stretched for the heavens all by Himself. He spread the vastness of the Earth all by Himself. He frustrates the liars, makes the diviners mad, turns the wisdom of the wise into foolishness, confirms the word of His servants, and performs the counsel of His messengers.

When you consider all that the LORD can do, you can quickly realize that your problem is not too big for God. Your problems are not bigger than the Earth that God created. My friend, your problems are a speck compared to the heavens that God spread out. Your problems may be big for you, but you can’t put the ability of God’s power to handle your problems in a human box. The problems you face in your life are in no way a problem for God to handle. God’s ability to handle your issues in life are minuscule compared to the power it took to part the seas and create the world. Let me share a few thoughts that will help you as you look at your problems.

First, let the history of God’s deliverance encourage you when you are in need of a miracle delivery today. All you have to do is look at the past to see that everything you faced was overcome by God’s help. God has always had the power to deliver His people from problems, and He still has the power to deliver them today. The history of God’s power to deliver is only a token of the power that He has to conquer the problems you face today and tomorrow.

Second, God’s promise of delivery isn’t based on a human timeline. God makes the statement, “He maketh…” and “I am the LORD that maketh…” The word “maketh” means a couple of things. First it means that it will happen, and secondly it means that He will make it happen. In other words, one way or another God will make a way. God is more determined to get you through your problems than you are; therefore, if you are determined to make a way through your problems, you can be assured that God is more determined to show you His power to make it through them. God is not going to let your problems be bigger than He can handle. God will find a way through your problems; yea, God has already found a way through your problems.

My friend, your problems may be overwhelming to you, but you don’t have to worry about them being too big for God. Yes, you may think that there is no way out of your problems, but God will make a way through them. How He is going to do it should not be your concern. Your focus needs to be on the fact that He promised He can make a way through whatever you face. You can certainly look at your problems today and say that they are in no way too big for God.
